New Aruba Program Verifies Interoperability With Best-in-Class Wired, Wireless, Security Management, and Voice Vendors
Aruba Networks, Inc. , a global leader in secure mobility solutions, today announced its new Aruba Solutions Partner Program, a two-level program that validates the compatibility and interoperability of partner products with Aruba’s secure mobility solutions. The goal of the program is to enhance the out-of-box deployment experience of integrators and end users by pre-testing products to ensure that they can be easily integrated, thereby reducing deployment time and costs.
“We have taken aim at a major contributing factor to the total cost of
network ownership, namely the time required to integrate products from different manufacturers,” said Peter Cellarius, Aruba’s head of business development. “To be easy to install and maintain, a network must function like a single integrated solution. It’s not so much about getting networked products to work together — it’s how much time and effort it takes to do so. By testing the compatibility of products and their interoperability with Aruba’s secure mobility solutions, we enable our customers to select those products that are proven to work together with the least possible effort.”
The Aruba Solutions Partner Program introduces two new designations: Compatible Partner and Certified Partner. The Compatible designation means the partner has conducted a thorough testing of its products interoperating with Aruba’s products. Aruba supplies configurations, test guidelines, and assistance. The Certified designation means the partner’s products have also undergone deep interoperability testing at Aruba’s laboratories led directly by Aruba’s engineers. Both designations require regular re-qualification.
Program members benefit from a wide range of collateral and marketing support programs. “Aruba’s program brings us front and center with sales prospects and channel partners,” said Mike Gadoury, CEO of Bradford Networks. “This program gives partners a unique selling vehicle that spotlights our joint commitment, thereby making network deployments as easy and fast as possible. End users, integrators, and partners all benefit, and that to us is what a successful program should do.”
