Nokia Siemens Networks provides update on employees in Iran

Nokia Siemens Networks can confirm that the three Finnish citizens working for the company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have contacted the company with the information that they expect to return to Dubai shortly. They were detained briefly in Iran while on a private fishing trip.

“We are pleased to hear that our team members will soon be back in Dubai,” said Nokia Siemens Networks Chief Executive Officer Simon Beresford-Wylie. “On behalf of Nokia Siemens Networks, I would like to extend my gratitude to the governments of Iran and Finland for working together to quickly and amicably resolve this matter.”
