Nottinghamshire County Council selects rostrvm for the Authority’s Customer Service Centre

Woking (UK), June 2007 – Nottinghamshire County Council has selected the rostrvm Contact Centre application suite as the foundation of its new Customer Service Centre.

“A key aim of this project is to deploy a state-of-the-art technical solution to enable call handling to be efficiently distributed to advisors connected to the system”, commented Councillor Mick Storey, Deputy Leader, Nottinghamshire County Council. “The system is flexible and to a high degree ‘future-proofed’ in that the Contact Centre element is capable not only of providing service on the Ericsson voice network currently implemented by Nottinghamshire County Council, but can continue to be used with any strategic change in technology that might be proposed by the council over the next five years.”

Councillor Storey continued “The new applications give our staff access to both the customer contact and the underpinning databases, accessed through the CRM system and fully integrated with the Contact Centre system and software. The system also has provision for significant and substantial management information, to enable the Contact Centre to be efficiently and effectively managed and provide public and private information on service levels and KPI’s.”

The rostrvm application is being delivered by Logicalis, a leading provider of integrated ICT solutions, as a component of a 3-year supply contract. Logicalis will be responsible for the design, planned integration and ongoing management of the Council’s customer service centre telephony technology.
