Verizon Online Expands Broadband Availability in Mercer County

More consumers and businesses in Sharon, Sharpsville, Greenville and West Middlesex can enjoy the benefits of high-speed Internet access now that Verizon Online has expanded its availability in Mercer County. Verizon Online DSL is now available to 2,541 additional subscribers in these areas.
“If you’ve wanted DSL service for your home or business from us in the past, but it wasn’t available in your neighborhood, now’s a great time to check with us on current availability,” said James O’Rourke, president of Verizon Pennsylvania. “We’re making DSL available to more communities, and our rates are more attractive than ever.”

Verizon Online service features a variety of prices and speeds, including a consumer DSL service that’s priced lower than many dial-up plans. For $14.95 per month, subscribers who sign up for a year can access the Web at connection speeds up to 768 kilobits per second (Kbps) downstream and 128 Kbps upstream. Verizon Online DSL customers can also get blazing fast Internet connections at a maximum speed of 3.0 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and 768 Kbps upstream for $19.95 per month for the first three months and $29.95 per month thereafter. In addition, Verizon has a number of DSL plans for business customers.
