Air Force Awards Telos $19.5M Contract to Provide Communication Equipment for the Combat Information Transport System

Reseller Contract Awarded Under NETCENTS Provides the Air Force with Communication Technology Such as Ethernet Switches and Firewalls

Telos® Corporation today announced it has received a $19.5M order from the Air Force to provide equipment to the Combat Information Transport System (CITS) program. Telos is reselling products from companies such as Cisco, Cloudshield, Datacom and Niksun to help ensure Air Force information is effectively and securely transmitted in a combat environment.

This contract was awarded through the NETCENTS contract vehicle.

The CITS program is an Air Force multi-year initiative to provide a high speed, broadband, digital information transport system. This system must integrate existing data systems and provide the capability to integrate all existing and planned voice, video, imagery and sensor systems, including classified systems.
