ClinPhone Extends Global Presence with New EDC Agreement with Chiltern

Nottingham, UK and London, UK (June 18, 2007) ClinPhone plc, the leading Clinical Technology Organization, announced today that they have signed an agreement with Chiltern for ClinPhone EDC.

Chiltern, a global CRO with corporate headquarters in Slough, UK, has signed an agreement to implement the ClinPhone EDC software system to support their global clinical trial programs. Chiltern has been conducting global clinical studies on behalf of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device companies since 1982 and has accumulated vast experience running clinical trials across a broad therapeutic range (phase I to phase IV) with a wide variety of clients.

ClinPhone EDC (formerly known as DataLabs Clinical) is the industry’s first single data management system that unifies the functionality of paper data entry (PDE) with the flexibility of electronic data capture (EDC) into one, easy-to-use electronic clinical data management platform. Chiltern plans to utilize the software primarily for electronic data capture and Clinical Data Management of electronic and paper trials.
