Satyam extends relationship with Nestlé
- Three-year agreement extension covers broad range of services for key global initiatives
Hyderabad (India) June 25, 2007: Satyam Computer Services Ltd., (NYSE: SAY), a leading global consulting and information technology services company, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year contract extension by Nestlé Corporation, the largest food and beverage company in the world.
Satyam is working with Nestlé to establish global business practices based on a common technology platform, a key component of the company’s Global Business Excellence project. Satyam will provide services ranging from software development, maintenance, and support to infrastructure management. As a result of this agreement, the number of Satyam consultants working for Nestlé is expected to grow close to 500 over the next year.
