MITSUBISHI LAUNCHES MEGAVIEW VIDEO DISPLAY WALL
New Delhi July 17, 2007 Mitsubishi electric, maker of the industry’s broadest line of award-winning projection and presentation display products Thursday announced launch of video/data wall display systems for the Indian market..
The 50-inch and 67- inch XGA MegaView Wall display have been especially designed for applications where non-stop monitoring or projection is a must including shopping malls, advertisment panels, home theatres, airports, railway stations , hotels. Telecom centres, power houses, defense establishments, and restaurants and educational institutes.
Mitsubishi has been global leader in manufacturing and marketing video/data wall products for over 15 years. It has a proven track record for providing the highest quality control room and other such displays and thus, brings their extensive experience to the market here in India . In India the company has launched its display products through Globus Infocom Limited (GIL)
According to Alex Danial, Dircetor, GIL, incorporation of Mitsubishi’s original design engine, using Texas Instrument’s DMD™ XGA chip, provides higher resolution to the video wall.
The video wall has No burn in built feature which means a long life – The DMD™ semiconductor is a reflective device and is not affected by surface ability to absorb heat, even when projecting a fixed pattern over a long period of time. Consequently, burn-in does not occur in principle. The system incorporates a long lamp service life compatible with 24-hour continuous operation as well as advanced reliability under even the severest on-site conditions.
The other highlight of the mega wall include Superior Color Reproduction and brilliance uniformity. The 26-inch depth of the Mitsubishi MegaView Wall allows the display to comfortably fit into reduced space control room or retail environments. The integration of an ultra-short focusing technology from Mitsubishi with a 9 lens construction, also means operation with minimal image distortion.
The price range of the Video Display wall begins from Rs four lakh onwards/-
