True Corporation Launches NS8’s iWave Music Player

True Corporation PCL (”True”) launched its custom branded True Music Player on June 26th for its True entertainment site www.trueworld.net. The True world entertainment site currently receives more than 60,000 unique users a day. After completion of its consumer soft launch, True plans to aggressively promote the True music player as an integrated component of its music service. Currently, the True music library consists of over five hundred thousand songs ranging from major to independent and local music labels. NS8 Corporation (”NS8″) will participate in a revenue sharing arrangement with True on each music download purchased from the True Music Player.

The True Music Player is a custom designed utility for personal digital media management and is designed to enrich and enhance the end-user experience. It allows its consumers to download, store, manage, and transfer media to CD’s and is compatible with most portable MP3 devices. NS8’s iWave Music Player is a cost effective turn-key platform that is easy to deploy and operate and can be branded to a company’s specific requirements.

According to emarketer, there are over 850 million internet users worldwide with 349 million residing within Asia and the Asia Pacific regions. According to a report from AccuStream iMedia Research, music download and subscription revenue is forecast to grow at approximately 48.5% in 2007 to $2.2 billion, a considerable leap from 2003, when $90.2 million was generated from online sales. Forecasts from Informa Telecoms & Media released at the Mobile Entertainment Market (MEM) 2006 conference in London suggest that mobile games, music and video downloads will be worth $25.9 billion by 2011.
