Fujitsu Unveils Primergy-based SAP Discovery System for SOA Evaluation in ASEAN

Leading IT and communications solutions provider Fujitsu Philippines today announced the SAP Discovery System, an out-of-the-box software-based evaluation tool for enterprise service-oriented architecture (ESOA).

Designed to encourage SOA adoption, the SAP Discovery System enables customers and partners to evaluate the benefits of aligning the SOA with business processes for reducing total cost of ownership.

Powered by the Fujitsu Primergy TX300 S3 dual-core Linux and Windows server, the SAP Discovery System comprises the SAP ERP 2005 and the SAP NetWeaver 2004x, both pre-installed software applications.

The Primergy TX300 S3 automatically returns the SAP Discovery System to its factory settings after testing, thus ensuring a risk-free and cost-effective environment for SOA evaluation and training. As a result, end-users are able to evaluate different business processes – designed using standards-based enterprise web services – using original data each time.
