The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded Accenture (NYSE: ACN) the Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract, a centralized contract enabling companies to provide global information technology services to all U.S. federal agencies.

Accenture is among 29 companies awarded the Alliant contract, which enables them to bid on task orders covering a broad range of management and technical IT support services for U.S. federal government organizations in the areas of infrastructure, application services and IT management services. In total, the Alliant contract has a 10-year term (five-year base with one five-year option) and a $50 billion contract ceiling.
