Brits are losing their memories

Nearly half (44%)* of Brits have lost memorable moments because they did not save photographs taken with mobiles phones, according to research conducted on behalf of BT. New research shows that intimate family moments are most at risk, as they are the occasions most likely to be captured by camera phone.

Research, carried out by BT, has examined how the mobile photographic phenomenon is changing the way people record their lives. This new survey shows that as well as regularly losing images, consumers are now using their camera phone as a shopping accessory.

One in six of us now take photographs on shopping trips to ask friends “does my bum look big in this” so as to help us decide on purchases.
