SIDSA features its technology solutions for DTT, Mobile TV and IPTV broadcasters and operators

Madrid-based company has become a key player in the International broadcast market as one of the leading DVB technology providers with solutions and products that encompass Digital TV, IPTV, Mobile TV and Conditional Access Systems. During the IBC’07, SIDSA will feature its all-IP broadcast platforms and will operate a mobile TV network distributing both free-to-air and encrypted TV channels covering the event.

August, 15th 2007.- SIDSA, an International DVB technology provider, will showcase its high-profile activity in the fields of Digital TV, IPTV, Mobile TV, Conditional Access Systems and Broadband, during the forthcoming IBC show that will take place in Amsterdam on September 7-11th.

The company will feature its POLAR PLUS platform for DVB-T, DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-H. Under IP topology, POLAR PLUS is the smallest and the most interoperable platform in the world, with a modular and a cost-effective conception. SIDSA has been selected by IBC organisation to give a real demonstration of its POLAR PLUS platform by operating, from its booth 245 (IPTV/Mobile Zone), a DVB-H mobile TV platform that will distribute several channels (among them BBC content) both in the clear under the standards CBMS and OMA BCAST and encrypted in collaboration with a third party.

Conditional Access Systems

SIDSA will also show its KeyFly Family, a security system for each environment with KeyFly CDN and KeyFly Broadcasting as the main features. KeyFly CDN is an encryption system specifically designed for distribution of terrestrial networks on satellite links. KeyFly Broadcasting is the safest Conditional Access System, necessary to support all business models.

DVB-H demodulator chip

The company will also exhibit its DVB-H reference designs based on IC from IP licensees and partners, as well as SIDSA’s DVB-H software stack. Moreover, SIDSA is leading cutting edge technology and the company will be launching the new IP for DVB-SH.

The company will also announce the opening of two new offices in Moscow and Hong Kong, strengthening thus its position as a global technology provider.
