CSC And Symantec Team To Offer End-To-End Managed Security Services

Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) and Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that they have entered into an alliance to offer integrated, end-to-end managed security services (MSS) worldwide. Under the agreement, Symantec will provide key elements of its security monitoring services, including intrusion detection, security device management, data analysis and correlation, further enhancing CSC’s comprehensive security solutions offering.

This alliance brings together the experience of two leading security providers to meet unique customer requirements across industry and government. The joint offering combines Symantec’s capabilities as a global leader for information security with CSC’s heritage of experience delivering comprehensive security to government agencies and global enterprises. Combined capabilities include security architecture and planning, vulnerability assessments, security device monitoring and management, intrusion detection and prevention systems, incident response and forensics.
