Noida To Get Rs 100 Crore NIIT Campus
Keeping in mind the future expansion of the company, NIIT Technologies is investing a whooping Rs 100 crore to develop a campus in Noida. NIIT Technologies said that it would invest more than Rs 80 crore to develop a campus in Greater Noida near Delhi.
According to NIIT Technologies chief executive officer Arvind Thakur, the company has acquired 20 acres of land in Greater Noida and appointed an architect too in order to build the campus.
The campus will be built over three phases. The first phase will be operational in the next 18 months and will have a capacity of 3,000 people.
In the second phase additional capacity for 3,000 professionals will be added and in the last phase space for 4,000 people would be created.
The company has in all 3,331 professionals and is adding 100-200 empoloyees every quarter.
Meanwhile the group company, NIIT Limited, which is in to IT training is also setting up a centre in Gurgaon that would house 400 people.
