VIA Announces 2Q’07/1H’07 Results

VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced financial results for second quarter 2007.

Net sales for 2Q’07 were NT$4,490 million. Net loss was NT$615 million; based on diluted weighted average shares outstanding of 1,291.045 million shares, earnings per share were reported as negative NT$0.47.

For the first half of the year, net sales totaled NT$8,359million. Net loss was NT$1,658 million; based on weighted average shares outstanding of 1,291.045 million shares, earnings per share for the first half of the year were reported as negative NT$1.28.
