Sonance Introduces Bandpass Subwoofer System

The Sonance Architectural Series™ will introduce a new Bandpass Subwoofer System at the 2007 CEDIA Show which is sonically designed for use with the Sonance Architectural Series in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker systems.

The Sonance Architectural Series BPS-1 Bandpass Subwoofer System is designed to add deep, powerful bass impact while the enclosure remains completely hidden from view. It delivers its bass energy through a Sonance Architectural Series Finish Component that is a visually discrete complement to the surrounding architecture space.

The trimless and truly flush-mount installation mounts the plane of the subwoofer grille perfectly aligned with the plane of the wall or ceiling. Adaptor Baffles are available which allow the BPS-1 Subwoofer to be used with any size round or square Architectural Series Panel Bracket (even 4-inch) to match other AS speakers in the audio system and any separately available Architectural Series Finish Component: metal (with or without trim) or cloth (with or without trim).

Sonance recommends the use of the Sonamp® A150 power amplifier which delivers 150 watts of power RMS and provides flexible connections.

Availability: January 2008

Manufacturers Retail Prices:

BPS-1 $1050.00

Sonamp A150 $550.00
