James Blunt Releases Sophomore Album, All the Lost Souls, on MVI (Music Video Interactive) Format

MVI Formatting, An Alternative to the Compact Disc, Offers Full Audio/Video Content as well as Interactive Features

All the Lost Souls Available September 18th from Atlantic Records

WHO:

In 2005 James Blunt captivated the world with his debut album, Back to Bedlam, featuring the hit single “You’re Beautiful.” The album was the biggest debut in the UK since the Beatles selling 10 million copies worldwide. All the Lost Souls, his sophomore album, shows tremendous musical growth and promises to be packed with more great singles.

WHAT:

In addition to the standard compact disc format, All the Lost Souls, will also be available on a new format called MVI – Music Video Interactive. The MVI is a DVD containing the full album audio as well as bonus content the traditional format doesn’t offer such as video content, portable music files and interactive computer features. The All the Lost Souls MVI will contain the documentary, “In the Studio with James Blunt: The Making of All the Lost Souls,” the video for the song “1973” and a preview of the forthcoming “Return to Kosovo” DVD.

Interactive content includes the UrTone computer application which allows users to create personalized James Blunt ringtones, a Photo Gallery, Buddy Icons, Wallpapers and more.

WHEN:

The All the Lost Souls MVI is being released simultaneously with the compact disc version on September 18th. This special edition MVI will also include a bonus CD of the full album.
