AKVIS LLC announces the release of AKVIS Stamp V.3.0 for Mac and Win
AKVIS LLC announces the release of AKVIS Stamp V.3.0 for Mac and Win, a healing/cloning plug-in that does miracles. New to version 3.0: Undo feature, Macintosh support. AKVIS Stamp is more than a cloning tool. Conceived as a healing tool for removing unwanted elements in digital photos, it does it work brilliantly. It automatically adjusts “patches†to the color range, texture and brightness of the target background. With a simple user interface and minimal steps to follow, AKVIS Stamp is a versatile healing tool for removal of wrinkles, scars, scratches and pores from digital portraits, and it performs seamless cloning in photos without the tedium of hand-blending.
New to the version is the long-awaited Undo feature. Earlier it was possible to cancel only the last action, now it’s a full-functional command that allows you to undo and re-do as many steps in a row as you want.
A creative mind can do miracles with the plug-in, as the software is able to clone objects and adjust them to the new background in such a way, that they get an artistic effect.
The unique Edit Mode of the plug-in helps to clone large fragments. Users of the newer releases of Adobe Photoshop (starting with v.7) have a similar tool – Healing Brush – at their disposal, but the unique Edit Mode of AKVIS Stamp makes this plug-in yet more handy and powerful. It gives more flexibility with the large fragments cloning. When cloning fragments it will not fuse the cloned area with the background until the Edit Mode is deactivated, allowing multiple revisions such as changing the size of the stamp, indicating another source for cloning, making clones out of different parts of the image. See the examples at: http://akvis.com/en/stamp-tutorial/cloning-girl.php
Thus, AKVIS Stamp adds a superior healing tool to Corel (Jasc) Paint Shop Pro, Corel Photo-Paint, Ulead PhotoImpact, ACD FotoCanvas, Microsoft Digital Image Suite, Picture Publisher Pro and to the earlier versions of Photoshop.
