uReach Powers SaskTel’s Online Voice Mail Services

uReach Technologies, a leader in enhanced communications solutions for service providers, announced that it has expanded the Online Voice Mail service it currently provides for SaskTel’s business subscribers to include wireless customers, small business and residential customers.

SaskTel’s new Online Voice Mail offering, developed by uReach Technologies, gives Voice Mail customers more control to access and manage their voice messaging services through the secure www.sasktel.com website. Now, users can listen to voice mail on the web, receive them as email, and even download and archive messages.

The Online Voice Mail user interface enables SaskTel to provide the same set of services to both wireless and wireline customers, thus providing SaskTel with a competitive advantage relative to current and future competitors’ offers. Online Voice Mail gives subscribers the control to completely manage their current messaging services including Voice Mail, Voice Mail to Text and any future offers developed by SaskTel. SaskTel intends to add the existing Say & Send service to the Online Voice Mail service in the near future.

Recently SaskTel launched the first service in Canada that transcribes Voice Mail to Text. The Online Voice Mail user interface gives subscribers the control over the service to have messages delivered via SMS, email or both and gives subscribers the power to choose whose messages are transcribed, and when and to whom they are delivered.
