Pragmatech Software Is Now Kadient
Name Change Reflects the Company’s Expanded Vision, Product Line, and Presence in the Market for Sales Automation Technology
Pragmatech Software, Inc., today announced it has changed its name to Kadient, Inc. The change from Pragmatech to Kadient is symbolic of the dramatic transformation occurring in the company’s business.
“Since 1994, Pragmatech has built a reputation of having a major impact on the productivity and effectiveness of hundreds of bid and proposal teams around the globe,” says Brian Zanghi, President & CEO of Kadient. “In the last 3 years, we have begun to see the impact that sales knowledge can have on the productivity of entire sales organizations, at every stage of the sales process. This realization was the motivation to build inciteKnowledge, an application designed for sales people and deployed in a software-as-a-service model. As Pragmatech is known as “The RFP Company”, our goal is to have Kadient recognized as the leader in the larger market for sales automation technology.”
The name Kadient was selected because it conveys strength, repeatability, and a rhythm synonymous with success in bringing prospects through the buying process. Pragmatech’s customers are giving very positive feedback on the name change.
“I love the name ‘Kadient’,” says Barbara Esmedina, Communications Manager, CONEXIS. “It is time to move to a new company brand that is a powerful complement to the inciteKnowledge and Pragmatech product lines. The products themselves have evolved so much in the past decade that they really have become their own brands.”
Kadient continues to offer two product lines. inciteKnowledge is an on-demand sales knowledge application that helps global sales teams increase sales performance and drive revenue by having better-quality interactions with prospects and customers. The Pragmatech 6.1 product line, which includes The RFP Machine and RFP Express, offers point solutions to bid and proposal teams.
inciteKnowledge is gaining rapid adoption in the marketplace since its launch on June 4th, 2007. There are more than 50 companies and over 7,000 licensed users on the inciteKnowledge platform. As a result of the huge success of this application in the market, CRM Magazine recently recognized the company as a 2007 CRM Market Leader in the category of Sales Force Automation, with particular recognition of the company’s product direction.
The company’s new website is www.kadient.com. Site visitors can access company, product and solution information, and customers can log in to the on-demand application. The site also offers a wealth of valuable resources on the subject of sales and marketing effectiveness, including upcoming and recorded webcasts with industry thought leaders.
