IEC Announces 2007 InfoVision Award Winners at Broadband World Forum Europe 2007

CHICAGO - 9 October, 2007 - The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) today announced the winners of the InfoVision Award giving tribute to some of the industry’s most notable products, services, and applications. IEC Vice President of Conference Development presented the InfoVision Awards in front of hundreds of industry professionals today at the Broadband World Forum Europe 2007 in Berlin.

Entries were judged by a panel of industry experts according to the following criteria:

* Value of service or technology in solving recognized technology problems, meeting network requirements, optimizing service and performance, and/or enhancing customer service
* Overall quality of innovation and contribution to technology advancement
* Originality and vision
* Potential contribution towards positive industry growth and service
* Market success/acceptance (where applicable)
* Contribution to end-user quality-of-experience and service efficiency
