ngi group Releases Alpha Version of ”MovableLife”, Allowing Web Users to Access Virtual Worlds

The ngi group (TOKYO:2497) (http://www.ngigroup.com) is proud to announce that its subsidiary 3Di Inc. (http://www.3di.jp) has released the alpha version of its new application called “MovableLife,” which is the first system to allow users to access “Second Life” via web browsers. MovableLife features maps, chat, IM, search, teleport, friend and group management, and other unique functions.

Currently, users are required to install an application specific software in their PC in order to access and use Second Life. Therefore 3Di will revolutionize the way virtual worlds and the web work together through the development and introduction of MovableLife. Future plans also include the development of a mobile applications of MovableLife allowing mobile users to access Second Life and other virtual worlds. Our development of these types of innovative applications and systems are the key to fostering growth in new 3D applications for the Internet.
