Corel Ulead VideoStudio 11 Optimized on Intel Core 2 Quad Processors

Major performance gains enable improved video editing and DVD authoring experiences on PCs and notebooks
Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL) (TSX:CRE), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, today announced significant performance gains for consumer video editing and DVD authoring using Ulead® VideoStudio® 11 on systems featuring the Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor.
Ulead VideoStudio 11 is an all-in-one solution for producing professional-looking videos, slideshows and DVDs with Dolby® Digital sound. Optimization of Ulead VideoStudio 11 improved frame-rate performance by up to 64 percent. Ulead VideoStudio 11 was tested in controlled conditions and was verified with significantly improved performance on Intel’s quad-core technology.

With the Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6700, Ulead VideoStudio 11 improved conversion speed from AVI video files to MPEG 2 format by more than 60 percent.
