Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) has been nominated for three prestigious awards, the Coveted Lloyd’s List Asia Awards 2007, Lloyd’s List Middle East & Indian Subcontinent Shipping Awards 2007 and Supply Chain Asia Awards 2007.
The first of these is the Coveted Lloyd’s List Asia Awards 2007 in which it has been short-listed in the top 4 for in the category of ‘Container Shipping Line of the Year’. The Lloyd’s List Asia Awards recognizes achievement of companies actively operating in the Asian shipping community, and this category award goes to the container shipping line that has the most outstanding performance across the region. This nomination underlines Emirates Shipping Line’s dedication to provide outstanding quality services and strong professionalism to its customer base. ESL has also secured itself a position amongst the nominees for Lloyd’s List Middle East & Indian Subcontinent Shipping Awards 2007 for ‘Shipping Company of the Year’.
In addition to the above two awards, ESL has been nominated in the category of “Shipping Line of the Year” in the Supply Chain Asia – Logistics Awards 2007. The coveted award recognizes the contributions of operators in logistics and supply chain excellence in Asia. Emirates is one of the five selected finalists having received the highest votes in the ballot from customers and business associates within the industry.
