LOS ANGELES (October 25, 2007)- The Now Film Festival today announced an exclusive partnership with MySpace, the world’s most popular social network, to present the 3rd annual Now Film Festival.

As part of this partnership the festival will select one short film per week for the next 24 weeks to be showcased on MySpace’s Film channel (http://film.myspace.com) as well as on MySpaceTV (http://myspacetv.com/ ). The MySpace community will also have the opportunity to watch the films and interact with the filmmakers on the Now Film Festival’s official MySpace profile (http://myspace.com/nowfilmfest ).

“Our lineup is as strong as any major film festival and this partnership offers our beloved filmmakers the highest amount of exposure to their aspiring careers,” said Sean Hackett, director of the 3rd Annual Now Film Festival. “Short films are the fastest growing form of entertainment and we think each one should receive its place in the spotlight. Embracing the hundreds of millions of MySpace users will ensure that earned exposure.

MySpace Members will have the opportunity to vote for the best overall film as well as other categories. Finalists will be screened in May, 2008 in front of a live audience of Hollywood’s top Producers, Development Executives, Agents and Managers.
