Diligent Technologies Signs OEM Agreement with Overland Storage

Diligent’s flagship product ProtecTIER™ fuels Overland’s new VTL de-duplicating all-in-one appliance

Diligent Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise-class de-duplication and data protection solutions, today announced that it has entered into an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Overland Storage (NASDAQ: OVRL) whereby Diligent’s ProtecTIER software has been chosen as the de-duplication technology to power Overland’s REO 9500D storage solution.

The combination of ProtecTIER with Overland’s REO platform is the optimal disk-based data protection solution for mid-sized environments, enabling high speed, reliable backup and recovery at the lowest price per GB of usable capacity on the market.
