Lenovo Concept PCs Win Prestigious Design Awards
Two Lenovo concept PCs have won design awards from the prestigious German design institute, Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. The institute awarded a “Best of the Best for Highest Design Quality” to Lenovo’’s Yoga notebook – which features a 180-degree adjustable display for multiple viewing angles and uses – and a “High Design Quality” award to Lenovo’s Sundial PC – an ultrathin PC with a rising stand and interactive touchscreen.
The Red Dot Design Award ranks among the most prestigious design competitions in the world, attracting more than 4,000 entries from 40 countries. The competition for the “Design Concept” category serves as a barometer of future design directions and trends with each winning entry selected by a jury of renowned design experts.
“Lenovo is committed to investing in innovative technologies, designs and products in order to deliver an unparalleled computing experience to customers around the world,” said George He, senior vice president for Research and Development for Lenovo. “Winning the Red Dot awards is a recognition of our international design team and our success in combining and integrating ideas to deliver truly inspiring designs and products to our customers.”
