Hitachi Medical Systems America today introduced its high-efficiency small-footprint ECLOS16TM 16-slice CT system at the 2007 Scientific Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America.
Designed to combine excellent image quality and a broad range of 16-slice applications with efficient acquisition, siting, and service costs, the ECLOS16 is designed to satisfy the needs of imaging centers and community hospitals for non-cardiac CT scanning in these days of Deficit Reduction Act constraints.
The ECLOS16 delivers high image quality and features that facilitate ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) x-ray dose practices. The operator interface provides sophisticated yet easy system operation. ECLOS enjoys Hitachi’s reputation for reliability and excellent service support. And the ECLOS16 warranty includes the x-ray tube regardless of use level. To enhance the ECLOS16’s capabilities, Hitachi provides optional 3D advanced visualization solutions from TeraRecon™.
“Not only does the ECLOS provide high diagnostic quality, but every aspect is designed to be efficient,” said Mark Silverman, Marketing Manager, CT at Hitachi Medical Systems America. “It is efficient in terms of equipment price, service costs, room requirements, electricity and air conditioning demands, etc., making the 5-year total cost of ownership lower than other 16-slice scanners.”
Think Efficiency……Think ECLOS
