As part of its continued commitment to excellence in service, LAN Airlines made an important enhancement to its website and has launched a newly revamped LAN.com. The renewed site makes it even easier to navigate through the Airline’s services and promotions and is based on a cleaner, simpler look and feel.
Buying at LAN.com is safe and convenient. Passengers can save 3% on purchases made on the US version of the website, avoid payment of any booking fees, and have up to 24 hours to change their mind and cancel their purchase without incurring any penalty charges.
LAN’s site is a one stop shop for the South America travel experience. One of the highlights it includes is LAN’s South America Airpass, the most convenient and efficient tool to travel the continent available for booking and purchase online. Taking its expertise in South America to another level, LAN created this tool for international passengers to customize their own travel journey’s, one-way tickets to any of the multiple destinations operated by the LAN Service Alliance carriers in Argentina, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brazil.
Travelers looking for a single destination will find Last Minute and Seasonal promotions on LAN.com (e.g., Miami to Lima, Peru from $398, New York to Guayaquil, Ecuador from $597, Los Angeles to Lima, Peru from $719(a)).
Members of LANPASS, the airline’s frequent flier program can also consult the status of their account, redeem benefit awards, find additional ways to earn kilometers, and tips on how to make the best use of their kilometer rewards. 70% of the LANPASS benefits redeemed are obtained online on LAN.com’s convenient menu of options for its members.
“We are extremely pleased with this accomplishment. The new and improved LAN.com will help us get closer to our passengers and give them all the tools they need for a seamless travel experience to and throughout South America,” stated Pablo Yunis, VP North and Central America.
LAN Airlines, recently named Best Regional Airline, South America by Skytrax’s World Airline Awards and Best Managed Company in Chile by Euromoney, reaches a large number of destinations throughout the world, including the Americas, Europe and the South Pacific, with access to an extended network through the LAN Service Alliance. The LAN Service Alliance offers flights from North America to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, serving 29 North American cities, including daily flights to/from Miami, New York and Los Angeles gateways. Passengers traveling with any of the LAN Service Alliance carriers may accumulate frequent flier kilometers/miles on LANPASS or American Airlines’ AAdvantage, or on any of the oneworld™ member frequent flier programs.
