Aditi Technologies appoints Dr. Anil Gupta as COO

Bangalore, December 4, 2007: Aditi Technologies, a leading offshore development partner and technology expert, today announced the appointment of Dr. Anil Gupta to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) worldwide. With over 25 years of experience in engineering and financial leadership, he will be responsible for customer satisfaction, execution, and engineering leadership development at Aditi.

As COO, Dr. Gupta will be based at Aditi’s India headquarters in Bangalore and his primary responsibilities will be focused on operations, customer and delivery engagements. Prior to Aditi, Dr. Gupta was at Sun Microsystems, where he spent 11 years in various senior executive positions, with his last assignment being the Vice President of India Engineering Center at Bangalore, the largest engineering presence outside of the US. At Sun, he led a number of initiatives including engineering and operations of high performance, cost effective, and scalable global networks, and integration of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Sun, he conducted research at AT&T Bell Labs, NJ, and later, as part of AT&T Sales and Marketing in San Francisco, led data network wins with large customers. Dr. Gupta started out consulting and developed software for electric utilities. He was also an advisor to the Ministry of Power, Government of Nicaragua.

Dr. Gupta earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Master’s in Engineering from the University of Delaware, and PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a recipient of numerous leadership awards, and is a member of IEEE.
