Cubic Telecom Opens New Cork Office

Wednesday 5th December 2007 – Cubic Telecom today announced the opening of its new offices in Cork. The new offices demonstrate the growth that the company has seen since it launched MAXroam (www.maxroam.com), the new SIM card that allows global travellers to make dramatic savings on international calls.

Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin TD., officially opened the new offices for Cubic on Monday.

Cubic Telecom has seen excellent results from the launch of MAXroam. Launched only four months ago, new SIM sales are now exceeded by top-up ‘credits’, highlighting the fact that consumers are using and enjoying the product and most importantly, seeing it as a great cost-saving tool while travelling.

The new Cork offices complement the new office that has recently been opened in Vancouver, Canada, which is the base for the chief commercial officer, Sean O’Mahony.

The company also recently formed a strategic alliance with Florida based Global Roaming Inc., which will consolidate its presence in the USA which at present accounts for almost 70% of sales.
