Xerox Offers HP Customers Lower Cost, Higher Yield with New Compatible Printing Cartridge
Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) is offering Hewlett-Packard customers a way to save money and be more productive with a new printing cartridge that delivers a 36 percent lower cost-per-print than existing HP cartridges and prints 10 percent more pages.
The latest addition to Xerox’s “It’s Compatible” line of toner cartridges can be used in HP’s newest black-and-white products, the HP LaserJet 4250 and 4350 printers, which are targeted to office workgroups and entry-level production printing environments.
The Xerox cartridge contains a microchip that supports HP “smart print” functions, enabling the printer to automatically recognize the cartridge and indicate when toner is low. It also indicates how many prints remain before the cartridge needs to be replaced.
