Admibros Shipmanagement Installs Blue Ocean Wireless GSM Solution

Blue Ocean Wireless (”BOW”), an Irish company delivering GSM communication capability for the merchant maritime sector, today announced that, it has been chosen by Admibros Shipmanagement to provide GSM coverage for their fleet.

Admibros will initially install BOW’s GSM solution on 8 of their container and tanker vessels. Using the BOW service, seafarers can, for the first time, make & receive voice calls and send & receive SMS messages using their existing mobile phones.

BOW continues to make significant progress in rolling out its product. To date, BOW has signed up over 150 vessels for installation. BOW has a strong market uptake and expects to grow installations as negotiations with major shipping groups continue.
