Adobe Announces Proliferation of Flash Enabled Products
Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced that leading consumer electronics device manufacturers, including Kodak, Sony, iriver and MagicBox, Inc., are rapidly adopting Macromedia® Flash® technology to deliver customizable user interfaces, enhanced content and superior browsing experiences to end users. More than 45 million Flash technology-enabled mobile phones and consumer electronics devices, including televisions, media players, set-top boxes, digital billboards, cameras, educational toys, car navigation systems and more, have shipped worldwide.
Adobe also announced today Macromedia Flash Liteâ„¢ 2 software and Macromedia Flash Player SDK 7 (see separate release), essential technologies that enable OEMs, consumer electronics device manufacturers and operators to provide rich user interfaces and ensure consistent consumer experiences across devices, operating systems, processors and screen sizes.
