Unknown by many customers, their analog cellular service will be shut down on February 18, 2008, causing major carriers, such as AT&T, Verizon, and others, to quietly discontinue their analog service. After February 18th, if a burglar breaks into a customer’s home with an analog wireless security system, the security system will not work.
