Samsung continues to demonstrate why it is a worldwide Consumer Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications leader, garnering CES honors for innovative products across a variety of industries. The company’s award-winning product lineup includes three handheld cellular phones, two LCD TVs, two camcorders, two digital audio players, a Home Theater in a Box system, an expandable home theater system, a digital camera, a multifunction printer, a project projector and a 4-door refrigerator. All of Samsung’s Innovation award winning products will be on display during the 2006 International CES, January 5-8, in the Samsung booth (#11033) in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, as well as in the Innovations Pavilion.
The CES Innovations Awards, now in its eighth year, salutes consumer technology products that exhibit superiority in design and engineering. Journalists, engineers, industrial designers and industry experts make the product evaluations as the awards are based on several criteria including value, aesthetics, innovation and contribution to quality of life. Sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) with the endorsement of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), these awards have become an industry standard in honoring the best technology of today.
