NewBay Wins Strategic Contract with T-Mobile

T-Mobile International Chooses NewBay for Pan-European MyFaves Service

NewBay Software, the global leader in digital lifestyle solutions for operators, today announced that T-Mobile International has licensed its LifeCache technology to power the MyFaves mobile subscriber service in Europe. Under the terms of this multi-million euro contract, NewBay provided both handset and web system solutions to provide a truly converged end-user experience. MyFaves has just been launched in Germany, UK and Czech Republic with roll-out scheduled for additional European countries in 2008.

T-Mobile MyFaves is an intuitive mobile community experience that combines a fun, easy phone interface with a user friendly web application to facilitate one click communication and social networking with five people chosen by the customer. With MyFaves, users can instantly call their five favourite numbers or send them text and multimedia messages.

As part of the deployment across Europe, NewBay developed and localised country specific MyFaves websites and provisioned handset interfaces for a broad range of devices. NewBay was also the chosen provider behind the successful T-Mobile MyFaves American service launched in 2006.
