Blue Star Infotech appoints Harish Bhat as President of its US subsidiary

Mumbai, February 18, 2008. Blue Star Infotech, a global provider of Product Engineering services, Enterprise services and Travel & Hospitality services to companies worldwide, appointed Harish Bhat as President of Blue Star Infotech (America) Inc., its North American subsidiary and Global Business Head for its growing Product Engineering practice.

Harish has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry including nine years in North America. He brings a strong portfolio of experiences encompassing Outsourced Product Development, Applications Outsourcing and Global Business Development. Prior to joining BSI, he was a Senior Vice President with Patni Americas Inc. where he handled multiple senior leadership responsibilities including managing global strategic alliances, running a global business unit focused on outsourced product development services to ISVs and leading a National Industry Sales Group for the High Tech Industry in North America. He has also worked with leading IT multi-nationals including NCR Corporation, Tandem Computers and Digital Equipment in India.
