Power Technology, Inc. Honored As Arkansas Business of the Year Finalist

LITTLE ROCK, AR – February 27, 2007 – Power Technology, Inc. was honored as a finalist for the Arkansas Business of the Year Award at an annual banquet held February 26, 2008. Power Technology, Inc. was one of only five companies out of hundreds to be selected as a finalist for the Arkansas Business of the Year Award in Category II.

Power Technology, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing laser diode products for almost forty years from their Arkansas headquarters. This year’s awards banquet marks the second time in three years that Power Technology, Inc. has been recognized as a leader within the state of Arkansas.

The annual banquet honoring the state’s finalist hosts the state’s top business executives, and awards companies, non-profit organizations, and business executives for their achievements.

The Arkansas Business of the Year Awards were founded in 1988 by ‘Arkansas Business,’ a publication detailing all aspects of business in the state of Arkansas as well as surrounding regions, and are given to businesses and executives that help the business community grow and prosper.

Power Technology, Inc., established in 1969, designs, manufactures, and distributes laser diode products for OEM analytical, biomedical, and industrial applications. Products include laser diode modules with wavelengths from 370 to 1600nm, temperature stabilized modules, lasers with beam circularization, and CW, pulsed, and modulated lasers.
