Sam’s Club Presents “Supplier of the Year” Award to N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc.

N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc. (NEW), the nation’s leading provider of extended service plans, buyer protection services and product support for businesses and consumers, was recently honored as “Supplier of the Year” by Sam’s Club Member Benefits. This award was presented to the NEW Client Development Team by Sam’s Club Senior Product Manager Keith Sharp and Director of Member Benefits Pat Quinn during the Sam’s Club Annual Kick-off Meeting held Feb. 4 in Kansas City, Mo.

In presenting this distinguished award, Sam’s Club recognized NEW for its support of the retailer’s four corporate pillars: 1) be relevant and build relationships, 2) become even a better place to work, 3) become environmentally sustainable and 4) provide value.

NEW was applauded by Sam’s Club for its responsiveness to its members through outstanding account management support, the effectiveness of NEW’s training programs, the value of the services NEW provides to Sam’s Club members, the value NEW provides to the retailer through its support of sales and NEW’s outstanding commitment to sustainability portrayed by the upcoming launch of ecoNEW – their trade-in and recycling program.

NEW has provided protection services and product support to Sam’s Club Members since 1991. In 2003, NEW expanded this relationship and began offering Product Care Plans online at walmart.com and in 2005 Product Care Plans were brought to Wal-Mart stores. NEW was also recently honored by Wal-Mart Financial Services as its “Supplier of the Year.”
