Xerox Grants ‘Technical Minority Scholarships’ to 119 Students

Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) has awarded its annual Xerox Technical Minority Scholarships to 119 graduate and undergraduate students from across the country to recognize their high academic achievement in the fields of science, engineering and technology.

“The Xerox Foundation is committed to investing in colleges and universities that enhance learning opportunities for minorities, and this scholarship program is another strong avenue we pursue to help students achieve their academic and professional goals,” said Joseph Cahalan, vice president, The Xerox Foundation, which funds the scholarship program.

The 119 winners are from more than 30 states as well as Puerto Rico, and they attend one of about 100 colleges and universities, including Rochester Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Purdue University, North Carolina A&T State University, University of California, Los Angeles and Penn State.
