Page/International Expands into Digital Commercial Printing with Xerox iGen3 110 Press

Page/International Communications has added the first digital printing equipment to its commercial printing operations: a Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) iGen3â„¢ 110 Digital Production Press. It will use the digital press to complement its successful offset printing business, serve new customers, and help grow print volume and revenue for both ends of the business. The company is part of Nationwide Graphics/Premier Print – a printing network of 16 commercial printing companies across the United States.

“The days of just being a printer are over – the iGen3 press allows us to be a full-service communications provider that can produce any job for our customers,” said Jeff Glover, president of Page/International. “The key to success today is selling services and solutions to clients, not products.”

After researching several digital presses, the company purchased the Xerox iGen3 press for its image quality and ability to print larger sizes compared to competitive equipment. Page/International expects to produce a range of applications on the press, including postcards, newsletters, posters and personalized marketing campaigns. Glover expects that personalized work will account for nearly 50 percent of print volume on the iGen3 press within a year.
