CNBC Television Program Reveals Pet Health Insurance is 3rd Most Requested Benefit
ensurApet, Inc., announced today that the Company stands to benefit from the growing demand for pet health insurance by employees across the U.S. Presently ensurApet has more than 81 independent agents offering its pet health insurance plans to their clients, associations, and PEOs, with plans to substantially increase the Company’s agent base in order to increase revenues.
This growing employee demand for pet health insurance was the subject of a recent CNBC television program which revealed pet health insurance as the 3rd most requested benefit product behind auto and homeowners insurance which employees are requesting from future employers.
Russell Smith, CEO of ensurApet, Inc., stated, “Due to the increasingly burdensome costs of health care, pet owners are now starting to look to save money on veterinary care as well. With more than $18 billion spent annually in the US on veterinary care according to The American Veterinary Association, American employees realize that insuring their beloved pets is as important as insuring themselves. This statistic shows that pet health insurance is becoming increasingly important to American employees, with 62% of households owning a pet, and with less than 1% of dog and cat owners in the US with pet insurance.”
