Symantec CTO To Speak At Network Ventures Conference
Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that Rob Clyde, Symantec’s chief technology officer, will participate in a panel discussion at this year’s Network Ventures conference. The panel, entitled “Network Security,” is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 9, from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. PST at the Sofitel San Francisco Bay Hotel in Redwood City, Calif.
The panel discussion will focus on how companies can protect themselves against current cyber threats in light of the new, various forms of traffic that travel over today’s networks, such as wireless, voice, video and P2P communication.
As chief technology officer, Rob Clyde helps maintain the technology vision and strategy for Symantec. With more than 25 years of information security experience, Clyde is a recognized industry authority and is a pioneer in the development of intrusion detection and policy compliance products.
