To Include the First in a Series of Compact Highly Efficient Indoor and Outdoor Antennas, and a National Program to Support Off-Air TV Reception
NAB2008

Antennas Direct will introduce the ClearStream™ series of HDTV antennas, starting with the ClearStream2, their newest outdoor antenna design. Advanced computer software was used to create compact (10”x20”) high performance antennas for the post 2009 DTV bands.

They will also exhibit the new Lacrosse® Micron™ DTV antenna, a true breakthrough in indoor design. Specifically designed to target post 2009 DTV frequencies, it has a higher gain of 8.6 dBi (max gain), is up to 98% efficient and all in a very small 10”x10” Radome; it’s rabbit ears on steroids.

Also, Antennas Direct will announce a partnership with the NAB to develop a new CEA909A compliant Indoor Smart Antenna.

In addition, they will announce a TV Broadcast Partners Program™, with goals to allow every TV station in the US to:
Offer an upgrade to a better performing, more aesthetic and smaller digital age antenna
Assist their viewers in antenna selection, aiming and installation techniques
Encourage satellite and cable subs to consider a backup source for outages or offer a viable alternative to local station reception, ever-increasing costs and aggravation
