Seagate Takes To The Road With Cross-Country Active Storage Tour

Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX), the world’s leading supplier of hard drives, is launching a year-long, coast-to-coast road trip throughout the U.S. to show consumers how the right storage can impact and improve their digital lives. Every day, more and more of your professional and personal life is becoming a digital experience, and Seagate is helping educate consumers on how their storage products are changing the way we work, live and play.

The Seagate Active Storage Tour, which kicked off January 27 in Sunnyvale, California, features a specially equipped semi-trailer, outfitted with the latest storage products, as well as demonstrations of the wide variety of cool new products hard drives enable. This mobile showcase of storage innovations will visit major retail locations, giving consumers the opportunity to learn, through hands-on demonstrations, how storage enables a growing array of digital applications, including game consoles, photography, video, music, movies, car entertainment and navigation.

“Seagate’s Active Storage Tour provides consumers with an opportunity to see, touch and experience the most innovative uses of hard drives that are at the heart of today’s digital lifestyle and tomorrow’s amazing new applications,” said Brian Dexheimer, Seagate’s executive vice president of global sales and marketing. “This unique road show provides us with a great customer touch point and an opportunity to share with consumers a wealth of information and experience.”
