DELOITTE HASKINS & SELLS ANNOUNCES THE RESIGNATION OF VICE CHAIRMAN, DILEEP C. CHOKSI

Mumbai, April 5, 2008: We would like to inform you that Dileep C. Choksi, Vice Chairman of Deloitte Haskins & Sells has decided to resign from the Firm and from the network firms, C.C. Chokshi & Co. and P.C. Hansotia & Co. Dileep is moving on after 35 years of exemplary service with the firms.
Dileep has held several key leadership roles in the past, including leader of the Tax and Financial Advisory functions and Joint Managing Partner. He has played a significant role in developing Deloitte’s strategy in India.
Udayan Sen, CEO & Managing Partner, Deloitte Haskins & Sells, said, “On behalf of Deloitte, I wish to thank Dileep for his service and dedication to our firm. We have benefited enormously from Dileep’s business insights and understanding of the Indian business environment. Commenting on his resignation Dileep said, “I have made the very difficult decision to resign from the Firm to take on new challenges at this stage in my professional career. It has been a long journey of 35 years from when I joined C.C. Chokshi & Co. which was founded by my father and with Deloitte thereafter. I would like to wish Udayan, the leadership team and everyone at Deloitte all the best in the years ahead and I look forward to a continued association with Deloitte going forward.”
