Opticon Inc. Announces Its Selection as AT&T Wireless Enterprise Fast-Pitch Platinum Award 2008 Winner in the Best New Network Compatible Device Category at CTIA Wireless 2008

Opticon Inc. announced that it was the winner of the AT&T Wireless Developer Program Fast-Pitch Platinum Awards 2008 in the Best Network Compatible Device category at the CTIA Wireless Tradeshow in Las Vegas yesterday. This award recognizes new cellular network devices that are compatible on the AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS network.

The Enterprise Fast-Pitch Platinum Award recognizes best-of-breed wireless solutions, including a variety of software applications and wireless network devices. Opticon Inc. submitted its H19 Field Phone for consideration. After a quick-fire presentation and question/answer session, the H19 was selected as the Best New Network Compatible Device for 2008.

The Enterprise Fast-Pitch Platinum Award judges wireless solutions on Concept and Innovation, Quality and Usability and Business Case. In the coming weeks, Opticon Inc. will launch www.opticonmobility.com, a website designed to enable Enterprise users of any size to order an Opticon H19 Field Phone, select and activate an AT&T Wireless voice and data plan, as well as select from a wide variety of business productivity applications.
