OECD to Host Forum for Addressing Nanotechnology Innovation, Applications, Environment, Health and Safety at NanoBusiness 2008 Conference in New York

The NanoBusiness Alliance, the world’s leading nanotechnology trade association, today announced that the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) will host a special panel at the NanoBusiness 2008 conference and exhibition, being held May 4 – 6 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The OECD is an international organization comprised of the world’s 30 most developed economies and based in Paris. The United States Council for International Business is the American affiliate to the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD. Their panel, entitled “OECD: A Critical Forum for Addressing Nanotechnology Innovation, Application and EHS Concerns” will provide an overview of current work on nanotechnology at the OECD and how it will impact the global development of this emerging technology.
